4. A shape for everyone and everyone in their shape Balenciaga makes their classic motorcycle bag in almost as many sizes and shapes as they do colors. From coin purses to clutches to overnight bags, no matter what you need to carry and how you prefer to carry it, there¡¯s something for you. Hobos and satchels make up most of the line, but even then, there are a variety of sizes to pick from.
The fact that this bag is virtually the same price and color as the offensive Zambos + Siega fannypack from earlier this week makes it nearly impossible not to compare them, and this bag is the clear winner. It¡¯s part of a few trends that actually manage not to dredge up the worst of 80s style, and for that, I give it a hearty thumbs up.
Many teens polled were prone to vying for designer brands just as much as any fashionable grown-up. Girls listed Juicy Couture, Coach, Chanel and L.A.M.B as favorite brands, in addition to traditional surf brands like Roxy and Volcom. Girls also said they favored Pink by Victoria¡¯s Secret as a more affordable alternative to Juicy Couture, with the line¡¯s comfortable, girly sweatpants and cutesy graphic tees. Seven for All Mankind and True Religion were popular denim brands.
Some brands still do all their manufacturing where they say that they do, some save the European manufacturing for runway pieces and outsource the more mundane things to China and some do it all overseas. They all go to great lengths to hide any of their Asian manufacturing from the eyes of their consumers, but fashion is a bottom-line-focused business and Chinese factories present an opportunity to save money that¡¯s too difficult to resist.
