Ciao
e....buone chiacchierate!

Luxury watches
are more than just timepieces: They're status on your wrist, testimonials to the fact that you've positioned yourself to enjoy the finer things in life, and not to mention a very important resource. Thus, there's a lot to consider when it comes to which watches to buy.Time is money, so watches are the ultimate American status symbol. A watch tells the world you have integrated affluence so completely into your life, you can afford to be casual about wearing it on your wrist. Whether strictly speaking this is true or not, it's a signal to the people around you that you are a person of distinction, to be reckoned with accordingly.Forget the bling. An expensive timepiece is really the only jewelry a businessperson of consequence should sport. Look for models that blend elegance with utility. Although Rolux is the best known luxury watch brand, it's not necessarily the name true connoisseurs associate with the finest luxury watches. In fact, Ro lex's dominance has been undercut in recent years by fellow Swiss watch brand Omega's aggressive marketing campaigns. How much will you pay?
Luxury watches start around $1,000 but can easily go up to hundreds of times that amount: the Jean Dunand Palace, possibly the world's most luxurious timepiece, retails for $410,000.If you're looking for

to buy, you can save a lot of money by buying them over the Internet. Ecommerce sales are not subject to state sales taxes, and most savvy Internet marketers pass those savings along to their customers. Additionally, the right website will have the biggest repertoire of watches to buy, a liberal 30-day return policy, daily deals on men's and ladies' watches both, and will not charge you shipping fees. What criteria are you looking for in luxury watches to buy?Manufacturer and Brand: The two most famous name in the world of luxury watches is the Swiss brand, Rolux. Indeed, Swiss manufacturers have a lock on the watch market for decades, although Italy's Bulgari brand and the

give Rolux a run for its money, according to a report from the Luxury Institute LLC which measures the status of luxury brands. Other coveted Swiss watches are manufactured by Patek Philippe and Piaget.Just Say No To Quartz Watch BatteriesWatches do not use quartz watch batteries to keep ticking. Almost entirely, watches are timepieces that either rely upon their owners to wind them or upon the movement of their owners' wrists to keep them telling accurate time.Skilled Design and CraftsmanshipAlthough certain parts of watch making are routinely automated, in the manufacture of luxury watches the key parts of the process are still done by hand. This is one of the price drivers. Many luxury watches in fact, like the $10,000 Soho Deluxe Automatic Calendar from Gevril have backs which allow you to admire the watch's handcrafted parts in action.Additional Functions High end watches to buy do more than merely tell time. They have calendars that will instantly tell you exact dates and times for every moment in the next 100 years. They have precise stop watches, they monitor multiple time zones, they even have alarm functions that allow you to select the sound effect you wish to be awakened by. In watch lingo, these additional functions are called ""complications,"" and the more complications a watch has, the higher its cost.MetalsThe most popular metal used in the manufacture of luxury watches to buy is stainless steel. But it's not infrequent for the more expensive luxury watch manufacturer to craft timepieces from more costly metals like 18-karat yellow, white or rose gold, platinum or titanium.DetailingIn luxury watches to buy as in other things, it's the details that count. Those diamonds on the face? That perfect, circular mother-of-pearl edging? Both the materials themselves and the craftsmanship involved in applying them so expertly make luxury watches more expensive.
